Tell us about your career.
Straight after graduating from university I worked in the Middle East as a freelance copywriter and journalist. When I returned to the U.K a decade later I worked as a travel agent, event organiser and reception manager. I have always gravitated towards roles with a strong customer service element which is something all my previous jobs, and my role as receptionist at Bookers and Bolton, have in common.
What do you offer the clients of Bookers & Bolton?
Great customer service and a cheery disposition.
Tell us about you.
What are your earliest memories?
Refusing to go into Alice Holt forest because I was convinced there were bears hiding in the trees! I was probably about 6 years old at the time.
What was your first job?
Babysitting for our neighbours’ children when I was a teenager.
What is your favourite film or TV programme?
Name something you love doing and why.
I’m a running coach, and I especially love sharing my running knowledge and passion with beginners just embarking on their own exciting running adventure.
Where would you most like to visit and why?
I’d love to visit Malaysian Borneo to volunteer at the orangutan sanctuary. I love all animals but there’s something about orangutans which really lifts my spirits.
What are your personal ambitions?
To complete ‘The Race to the Stones’ – a 100 kilometre run event along the Ridgeway, the oldest path in Britain.
